Massena Telephone will award up to three $500 scholarships, each to a high school senior who lives in a household that subscribes to MTC service, and plans to attend a college, university, trade school, or certificate program in the fall. This is a one-time scholarship, and it will be paid upon completion of the first term of the applicant’s program.
Write an essay explaining your plan of study, how you plan to use your training after graduation, how you came to choose that path, and why you are excited to train and work in the field.
Submit two letters of recommendation, one professional and one personal.

Selection Criteria (in no particular order):
Applicant’s passion about their chosen path of training, based on applicant’s essay.
Grammar, spelling, and format of essay
Applicant’s Community Service
Applicant’s Grade Point average
Priority may be given to students going into STEM, Data, and Telecom fields.
Letters of recommendation
This scholarship is not based on financial need.
The selection committee will coordinate with the recipients’ schools to announce the recipients at baccalaureate/awards night if practical.
